Jérôme DUBREUIL specializes in design
and development of innovative applications improving the man-machine interaction
and involving technologies such as multimodality, artificial intelligence and
speech recognition.
Prior to BravoBrava!/SpeaKESL, Jérôme was the responsible for the
development of an industrial expert system for rotating kilns at the company
Le Nickel-SLN (group Eramet), Doniambo, New Caledonia (South Pacific French Island),
the world's largest ferronickel producing plant.
The project involved all steps from designing the hardware and software architecture,
collecting and analyzing knowledge from operators, developing the expert system
core, handling installation and training of support staff.
Before that, he has worked for the French 'Irisa' Research Laboratory on the
conception of a man-machine dialogue software, based on a model allowing verbal
exchanges and physical acts.
Also, at the Stanford Research Institute (Menlo Park, California, USA), he has
contributed to the development of multimodal applications using speech, gesture
and writing recognition.
He holds a degree (equivalent to a Masters in Engineering) in Software and Computer
Systems (LSI) from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Sciences Appliquées
et de Technologie (ENSSAT).
